Car 'show me, tell me' vehicle safety questions (updated 4 December 2017)

View or share your driving licence information

As of the 8th June 2015, the DVLA no longer issues the paper counterpart licence and existing ones are no longer valid. You will need to print and produce your licence information to bring to your first lesson, or generate a 'check code' which your instructor can use to go online and check your information for himself.
It's quite straightforward and you can use the following link:

Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely. It can be taken at any time although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test.
